Help & Frequently Asked Questions
General
Where do I find lyrics and texts for all the songs Thomas Hampson has been singing over the past years?
There is an extensive archive of lyrics in the Library Section of the webpage, organised by composer. We are constantly working on adding new song texts, so please be patient if you cannot yet find what you are looking for.
How do I send an article per email?
If you scroll down to the bottom of an entry you will find a similar bottom line for each of them. Click on "Email This Article" and a window will open where you can fill in the recipient's and your own email address. You can also write a short message and choose whether you want to send the entry as a text or a link.
What is a Permalink?
The Permalink is the URL that links to a website entry. If you want to bookmark a specific page, like for example Leonard Bernstein's profile, www.hampsong.com/blog/ihas.php?id=P400, click on Permalink at the bottom of the page to activate the direct URL to that entry and bookmark it.
How do I join the Mailing List?
In the left-hand navigation menu of News, Discography, Conservatory, and Library you will find an empty field with the heading "Join the Mailing List". Library
Why don't I find any opera programs in the Program Archive?
The Program Archive of the Library Section of the webpage includes only programs where Thomas Hampson has created the artistic concept and planned the program of the event. As operas are usually staged by opera houses and concerts are conceived and produced by concert halls you will not find any programs for those in the archive. Try the webpage of the respective institution which we have linked in the performance calendar.
How do I download the PDF files?
In order to download a PDF you need to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have it you can download it here for free. http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

How do I send an E-Card?

A form will open up where you can chose recipient and style of your postcard. When you have written your card click on "Preview Postcard" to see what it will look like; then send it if you like it or edit it and send later.
